BeLearning: a training framework

150 150 La Perimetral

BeLearning is an open training process that includes adapted training sessions linked to digital development and targeted to cultural operators. It is documented in http://www.belearning.info. It is structured in three phases (open sharing, workshop and post-workshop space), a set of dimensions where organize the different contents (Cultural project management – specific tools for cultural managers or members of cultural sector in a wide view; ITC training- addressed to improve ITC skills, specially in the use of collaborative patterns; Co-working processes- linked to ways of working in teams using intensively digital tools and mentality). Trainers can use three modalities of workshop dynamics (Turning tables – making and unmaking teams upon short trainings and common presentations; Double way – two issues treated in two different perspectives and one question to solve ; Scenarii- imaginative possible situations and how to deal with them thanks to role playing).

1st basic strategy is to share, transfer and transform, through one session to another (expanding), new ideas or working systems (knowledge).

2nd basic strategy is transdisplinarity or the ability to bring together the different profiles, level of knowledge and organisations into common projects.

3rd basic strategy is adaptability: BeLearning is an open method of training that can be exploited in different centres according to their necessities and their learning programs. The materials that can be used are diverse and always complemented with the digital platform.

Tools used have been: videos and other multimedia documents, social networking, wikis, cloud sharing, open source learning, etc

Thus, it allows to learn something specific in a short lapse of time, and an immediate implementation of the achievements, being able to be exploited after the training sessions by the students or groups of students or by the organizations where they do their work.
